Lorpen T3 Heavy Hunter Overcalf Eco Sock

The Lorpen T3 Heavy Hunter Overcalf ECO is one of the most durable socks in the Lorpen range. It is a thick, long-legged and warm sock for cold weather stays, protecting and supporting the foot with maximum efficiency.

Lorpen T3 Heavy Hunter Overcalf ECO keeps feet dry and warm during long days of hunting. This reinforced sock is ideal for trips where heavy footwear is worn in low temperatures, and where long periods of stationary use are required. It is an excellent sock for winter hunting trips, as well as other winter activities. The main fibres of the sock are made from recycled fibres and the sock has strong padding to protect the foot. A very high quality sock for longer wilderness trips, snowmobiling or even sledding trips. This sock is at its best in cool and wet weather.

The sock is mainly made of PrimaLoft ECO polyester yarn with 30% PrimaLoft fibres and 70% recycled polyester. The result is a soft, warm and hydrophobic fibre. The sock also features mulesing-free merino wool, as well as recycled nylon. The nylon comes from fishing nets that have reached the end of their life cycle for the fishing industry. Lycra®, on the other hand, is a synthetic elastane fibre that can stretch up to six times its length and return to its original state, time after time. This allows the sock to keep its shape.

The combination of Merino Wool and PrimaLoft ECO results in faster drying of the sock, maintaining a comfortable feel against the skin.
