GearAid Tenacious Tape Repair Tape repair patches, GORE-TEX

When your GORE-TEX® jacket rips, you can repair it quickly and easily with Tenacious Tape GORE-TEX. This GORE-TEX patch kit includes two adhesive-based fabric repair tapes, a round and a rectangle (7.6 cm round and 10 x 5 cm rectangle). You can also cut the patches yourself with scissors to the appropriate size and shape. When cutting the patch smaller, it's a good idea to shape the corners of the patch into rounds, and also to make sure that the patch is larger than the hole you're repairing. Suitable for waterproof and breathable jackets, outdoor trousers and gloves.

Apply the patch to a clean piece of clothing over the torn area, rubbing any air bubbles from the centre to the edges in a circular motion. Repairing a GORE-TEX garment has never been so quick and easy!

You can wear the repaired garment or equipment immediately, but the adhesive surface of the patch will reach its best adhesion in about 24 hours. Does not require heat treatment, but we recommend that you iron on low heat or gently heat the patch for a few minutes to improve its durability. After time and light heat treatment, the patch will also withstand garment washing.
